This Top Fuel Hydro Driven by Rex Childers called "Whiskey River 2" crashed at Marble Falls Texas" at the 2006 IHba Lakefest. He was not Seriously hurt in the incident.

Drag Racing From The 2007 California Hot Rod Reunion

Well this race had all the ingredients for an exciting event. And the 16th annual California Hot Rod Reunion did not disappoint. With over 400 race cars in attendance. including 20 top fuel dragsters, and 20 nitro funny cars. the racing action was hot and heavy. but by far the most eciting and scary moment of the race came during round 1 of funny car qualifying when veteran funny car driver randy walls had a massive engine explosion. though not seriously injured he did receive burns to his hands and legs, also receiving some smoke inhalation.
